About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Junior OSINT Analyst to join our team of intelligence analysts. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior OSINT Analyst/Manager to conduct research on people, groups, companies, and other entities, and will play an integral role in providing strategic analysis of current and emerging situations and events.
As a Junior OSINT Analyst, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the team's collective knowledge through collaboration and sharing of best practices and will work on challenging and complex research projects. Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth OSINT research using a variety of tools and techniques, including social media monitoring, advanced search engines, web scraping, data analysis, and network analysis, to produce reports and briefings that provide actionable intelligence to internal and external stakeholders.
Research and analyse threat actors, their motivations, and their capabilities, and provide insights and recommendations to the Senior OSINT Analyst/Manager on potential mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with the OSINT research team to develop and implement new research methodologies and techniques, and share knowledge and best practices to enhance the team's capabilities.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of OSINT research and analysis, and contribute to the team's collective knowledge through participation in training and development opportunities.
Support the Senior OSINT Analyst/Manager in monitoring and analysing emerging trends and threats that may impact the organisation or its interests, and provide recommendations on potential mitigation strategies.
Assist the Senior OSINT Analyst/Manager in developing and maintaining relationships with external partners, including law enforcement agencies, government entities, and industry groups, to facilitate intelligence collection and analysis.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as intelligence studies, international relations, cybersecurity, or computer science.
Strong interest in OSINT research and analysis, and a passion for understanding and predicting the behaviour of individuals and groups.
Knowledge of OSINT research techniques and tools, including social media monitoring, advanced search engines, web scraping, data analysis, and network analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise reports and presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong attention to detail and ability to think critically and creatively.Ability to work collaboratively with a team and to share insights and recommendations for improving research and analysis methods.
Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a related field, such as intelligence, cybersecurity, or law enforcement.
Familiarity with emerging technologies and their potential applications in OSINT research.
Knowledge of geopolitics, political science, and international relations.Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
